Everyone has them. They're the little things that people do that just tick you off. And I know that most of the time people don't do them on purpose, but it just so happens that if your having a bad day, or you are just ill, then everyone is going to get on your nerves and do all the things you don't like, just because it's not your day.
So here we go....
1. Can't stand when the kitchen counters and stove don't get wiped down after you cook. Or just clean up after yourself for that matter.
2. If someone say's they are going to do something, then I expect them too.
3. I HATE ceiling light!!! If you don't know what this means just ask Kaitlyn.
4. Rude people. It isn't that hard to say please and thank you!
5. I don't like it when people take advantage of other people, especially if someone goes out of their way for you.
6. Two-faced people. If you can't be the same person around everyone, then obviously you don't need to be "friends" with them.
7. Couples who sit on the same side of the booth at a restaurant.
8. Slow drivers!!! (Not that I speed) but if the speed limit is 70, then don't go 55 in the right hand lane!!
9. People who are not on time.
10. PeOpLe WhO tYpE lIkE tHiS.
11. Driver's that don't use a turn signal.
12. Pulling away from a drive-thru and realizing you have no straw or your orders wrong.
13. People who don't take care of their children or provide for them.
14. Not having cell phone service.
15. People who ask annoying questions in class just to have a chance to talk.
Now I promise I'm really not mean and hate everything in the world!! There are just a few things that annoy the heck out of me! And I'm sure that everyone who knows me already knows all of them. =)
PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLBY!!!

Random Ramblings....
My apologizes for the lack of blogs this past week. School started full blast (insert thumbs down and tongue noise here) and it was just a hectic week. I don't know if it was me but last week was a total DRAG!! The beginning of the week went by so dern slow. Guess it was because of the "ice/snow" storm we had. Actually, the "ice/snow" storm turned out to be nothing but a little cold rain. However, we did get a 2 hour delay Tuesday morning so thank you ECU for taking necessary precautions and letting us sleep in a little longer! =) Even though I will probably complain about school a lot on here, really I should be nothing but blessed to be there. My Dad keeps telling me that these years are the best and I need to enjoy them while I can. I do enjoy them and I'm very fortunate that my parents have the ability to put me through college. Sometimes though, the homework, tests, and studying just get to me and I feel like everything is going to come crashing down right then and there. But it doesn't, it never has, and it probably never will. I always get through everything, I just like to procrastinate a little. ;)
I have throughly enjoyed my weekend, probably because I didn't have to get up early and actually got to sleep in! I came home Thursday night because my professor for my econ class said that we would have a substitute on Friday. Seriously? Who in their right mind would go to a 8 AM Friday morning class with a substitute that doesn't take attendance? Not me! So I packed up my things and hi-tailed my butt down 264. Friday Matt was doing ride time so I slept in a little while then got up and cleaned Matt's room. God bless him. Matt is such a good man, however, he would be PERFECT if he knew how to place things on his dresser in some kind of order, hang up his clean clothes in his closet, and put a new roll of toilet paper on the actual handle, not on the bathroom counter! Love him though. Friday night....was spent with some lovely people at The Roadhouse. Love having catch up time with my girls (and Mark). Let's see, Saturday, Matt and me went to breakfast, then went to visit MeMa & Grandad. I love my grandparents so much. They are so down to earth and I can talk to them about anything. During the summer I lived with them so I could stay in Franklinton and work and of course so I could see Matt all the time. Haha. When summer was over and it was time to pack up and go back to school, I cried all the way down the driveway. Yeah, I know...corny right? But I loved spending time with them and it was hard leaving them. Ok, back on track Meg. Saturday night Matt took me to Middleburg! Yummy in my tummy :) Matt and my one year anniversary is tomorrow so that was to celebrate it! Thanks babe! Today I went to church, Mema and Grandad took me to lunch after, then I worked on some school stuff. Went by and showed April my little surprise for someone (cough Matt cough) and then I went and had supper with Matt at work. He works with some pretty cool people and they are always so sweet to me! Well tomorrow's Monday, but no school! Me and Matt are going to spend the day together before I have to go back to Greenville.
This week should be a good week since it is a short school one! I'm excited for this coming up weekend! One of my very best friends, Colby, is turning 21 this week and we are going to celebrate it this weekend! It's always a fun time when everyone get's together and I am really looking forward to it!! So, if I don't write in here again before Tuesday, Happy Birthday Colby!! Love you girl!
Hope everyone has a great week!!

TV, TV, & more TV...oh my!!
Well, its Sunday and that means the start of all my television shows for the week! I know I should probably be reading or doing something productive instead, but can't miss my shows!! Actually, I have been multitasking. For the past hour I've been sitting watching TV AND eating supper. =) Anyways, since moving to Sunchase with Courtney and Kaitlyn, we have developed TV watching patterns and stick to them religiously. Let's see...Sunday night is Desperate Housewives night, Monday night is The Real Housewives night, Tuesday is Teen Mom (which I'm very excited a new season starts this week!!), Wednesday night is usually something on TLC, and Thursdays is up in the air.
I'm a big sucker for reality TV. Right now me and Kaitlyn are watching Sarah Palin's Alaska. I'm not a big fan of Sarah Palin in the political scene, but she's pretty cool as a person and as a mom. And she does live in a pretty neat place. And on another note, "We are having smores' tonight in honor of Michelle Obama who says kids shouldn't have dessert." Haha. Guess she can't move away from politics all together! I used to be a big fan of Jon & Kate plus 8, until she became a whiny baby and he just went crazy. The Duggars is also a favorite of mine. Although I don't agree with them having kids "until God decides otherwise", she is a really good Mom and you can see that she really loves all of her kids. Let's now move away from TLC and talk about MTV. Really the only show I watch on this channel is Teen Mom. All the other shows to me seem really stupid and pointless. I know, I know, your probably thinking Teen Mom is really stupid and pointless but I like it. It's interesting to see how these young girls deal with having a baby so young and it makes me appreciate so much more the things my parents taught me when I was younger. For some of the girls (Amber), I wish I could punch her face through the TV, but I guess I have to settle for just screaming at the TV instead. Some of the girls I really feel sorry for though. I mean, everyone makes mistakes and if they are doing everything in their power to try and provide for their child and still having a hard time, it kind of makes me sad for them.
When I was still in high school, I used to have to DVR my all time favorite show, but now I just try to schedule my classes early enough so I'm home in time to see it. Yes, I'm talking about The Young and the Restless. In Greenville it comes on at 12:30, so sometimes its hard to catch. My Mom and Granny got me started on this and I just love it! & seeing Nick Newman everyday isn't so bad either! (Love you Matt) :)
Now at night time while we, well Kaitlyn, is cooking supper, cash cab is usually on and then at supper time we watch jeopardy and then wheel of fortune. Yeah, we are dorks. But I look forward to it every night! Haha.
Well, time to go prepare for a LONG week of classes. Hope everyone has a great week!! :-)

College, College, & more College!
As I start my 5th semester at ECU, I look back on everything I have been through since starting school. I can remember the first day I came here. My Mom, Dad, and Will moved me in, got me situated, then went to stay in a hotel for the night so they could get some rest before they headed back to Huntersville. Early the next morning I was texting my Mom crying telling her that I wanted to go home and that I was not staying here. I don't know why it hit me then, but the reality of being by myself, off at school without my mom and dad was just scary to me. Let's just say after some pep talk & many hugs from my parents and Kaitlyn's mom, I decided to stay.
Much to my surprise, college wasn't as hard as I first imagined. Don't get me wrong, I had to work my tail off and study like I've never studied before, but I expected that because you are working towards your future goal of having a successful job. At first, my major and what I really wanted to do was be a nurse. I just enjoy helping people and I thought I could make a difference in someone's life. However, some of the classes that I had to take for nursing stopped me dead in my tracks. After going back and forth and changing my major MANY times, I have finally decided what I want to do and I am sticking with it. My major now is social work with a minor in gerontology. After I graduate I want to get a job working with Hospice patients. In high school, I did an internship through a hospice agency and really enjoyed it. There's something special about working with people at the end of their lives. I love working with older people, they are so wise and most are as sweet as they can be. So, everyone pray that I can get through these next few semesters and finally get to be out in the "real" world with a successful job that can provide for me and also can make me happy. =) Oh, and I must give a shout out to my Mom & Dad, because without their support and financial help, I wouldn't even be here to get a education!
On a lighter note, here's a few things I have learned from going to college:
- 8 AM classes SUCK....BIG TIME!!
- Girls, there is no need to get dressed up to go to class. Trust me, no one is paying that much attention to you anyways.
- A home-cooked meal never tasted so good after you've been off at school for a while.
- Having good roommates makes everything better.
- Textbook prices are outrageous, & you never get back what you paid for them.
- It's so rewarding to see your grades at the end of the semester and know that you didn't work your butt off for nothing!
- These really are some of the best times of my life and I need to sit back and not wish it all away so fast!
Hugs!! =)

A New Year!!
Hey Guys!!
So sitting here at school on a Friday night (If you know me I'm never at school on a Friday night), Kaitlyn and I decided to start a blog. I've thought about doing a blog for a while, I just never got the chance to actually sit down and do it. And I probably thought that no one would read it because my life isn't that interesting at all. Ha ha. Anyways...have to give props to Kaitlyn for coming up with my blog name. She's the creative one out of the bunch! =)
Since the new year has started, it has made me think back on the past year and realize how blessed I am and how fulfilled my life really is. Here's a few things I'm grateful for...

Since the new year has started, it has made me think back on the past year and realize how blessed I am and how fulfilled my life really is. Here's a few things I'm grateful for...
- My Family ~ Without my family I don't know where I would be. I have the greatest parents in the world. They have always been there for me and provided everything I have ever needed or wanted. They are currently putting me through college and are always there to lend a helping hand. Love you Mom & Dad!! I also have the best little (even though he towers over me) brother ever. Will has grown up so much in the past year an I'm excited to see where the world takes him. Only one more year and he will be off to college himself!!
- My Matt ~ To be honest, I would be lost without him. This past year has been one of the best years of my life dating Matt. I know that he loves me unconditionally and supports me in whatever I do. He's fun to be around and I'm so comfortable around him. I'm excited for what 2011 has in store for us!! Love you Matt!
- My Friends ~ These are the people that keep me sane and are always there to put a smile on my face. I am so lucky to have such good friends. Not everyone can go off to college and room with the same people who you played in cribs with when you were little. And not everyone can meet new friends who you feel like you have known your whole entire life. Whether old or new, I feel so blessed to have people I can call at any time of the day, vent to when I'm angry or sad, or just spend the day hanging out together. Love all my friends, you know who you are!
- My health ~ I am just very grateful to be healthy and do the things I do daily!!
Well, that is just a little about who I am and what means the most to me in my life =)
